HOLD THE PHONE --- WE JUST FULLY FUNDED! EVERYONE IS GETTING BomBARDed

We honestly didn't want to bomBARD you with yet another update, but we are just so freaking excited because WE FULLY FUNDED IN JUST OVER 48 HOURS!!! Because of your kindness and love, BomBARDed is happening.  

SINCERITY COUCH TIME: We are genuinely in disbelief right now. The Library Bards began as two new friends who shared a passion for great music, and the incredible fandoms of Star Wars, Power Rangers, Anime, Doctor Who, and so on. At the time, we didn't think people would even like what we do. But as we traveled from con to con and talked with new fans, we heard their stories. Stories about how they survived high school because of Dungeons and Dragons; or how they connected on their first date with their now partner over their mutual passion for Spiderman; or how happy a parent felt when they overheard their child tell someone, "no... Han shot first!" These stories make it all worthwhile. The exhaustion we may feel from the long weekends completely disappears when we see our audiences laugh and sing along to "All About that Space". This album may be a chance to for us to visit the fandoms that we grew up with; but really this album will always be about you, our incredible fans.  So from the absolute bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Back to your regularly scheduled update: So even though we are fully funded, we won't be forgetting about your pledge. We plan to have updates with behind the scenes from the recording studio, fun games that we can play together, and some more sneak peeks into BomBARDed. We hope to even have a surprise or two along the way. So again, thank you for making our dreams come true. We love you all so very much.

WE ARE NOT WORTHY!! 80% FUNDED IN 24 HOURS!

These past 24 hours have felt like a dream. BomBARDed is 80% funded (ok...technically 79.14%, but that is still unbelievable). To say we are thankful for your support is a gross understatement. We are beyond thankful --- we are grateful, indebted, humbled, overwhelmed, exuberant, and... honestly beyond words. 

So far 279 backers from over 10 countries are officially part of this incredible campaign. We love you guys so much and we know you are going to simply love BomBARDed. This album really comes from our hearts and we are honored that you want to help us get it made. And in case you didn't see it, Kickstarter declared us one of their PROJECTS WE LOVE! How amazing is that? 

We want you to get a taste what BomBARDed has in store. So if you haven't done so already, check out Comic Fan. This video was created with user-submitted fan art to celebrate the life and legacy of Stan Lee. "Comic Fan" is a parody of Heart's incredible 1976 song, Magic Man, and will be featured along with lots of other great songs on the new album.
