BomBARDed IS OUT!!

After what has seemed like forever and a few days, we are excited to finally have the complete BomBARDed album finally available to everyone! This project was successful thanks to you, some of the most incredible backers in the world. You should have received an email that gives you full access to complete you download at BandCamp. If you still haven't gotten your download code, please make sure you completed your BackerKit survey (librarybards.backerkit.com). The album should be available on iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify soon. It can be purchased right now at Bandcamp and Reverb Nation (@LibraryBards)

As for the awesome rewards, we are currently waiting on the physical CDs to arrive from the manufacturer (we are expecting them any day now). Once we have those we will be starting our fulfillment process. 

Other Updates

As we mentioned, this summer was wild! GacuCon Gaming Cruise, GenCon, FuMPFest, World Con, D&D in a Castle, Nerd Music Fest, and Anime California gave us some incredible opportunities to meet with fans and rock out with some awesome music. It was a summer to remember. Here are just a few of the moments we will forever cherish. 

Now that September is here, it is time to start new projects. Xander will be back to his vampiric escapades on twitch with Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. (twitch.tv/xanderrific). Bonnie will be working on a secret new project that will be announced very soon. And as for the Bards together, it is time to get some music videos worked on. And if you are a backer, you'll get access to the music videos a day early. Updates will be posted here so keep an eye out. 

As always, thank you so much for your love and support. This community is full of some of the best people on earth. There could have been a million places our lives could have ended up, but we are so thankful it  ended up alongside so many incredible, talented, passionate, and loving people.

BackerKit Updates and New Song Sample

Hello again Honorary Bards,

Great things are happening! Even while we are on a whirlwind journey across time and space (going from one time zone to another counts as time travel) we are still making huge progress with BomBARDed. Merchandise has been ordered and should be arriving any day now. The album is nearly completed. And we've discovered a new love of hats. 

BackerKit Survey Update!

Right now we stand at 90% completion of the BackerKit surveys. If you haven't completed your survey yet, please do so ASAP! We need the information for multiple reasons (especially if you are getting physical rewards). If you didn't get the survey, please go to https://librarybards.backerkit.com/ and use your email address to access it. 

On July 22, we will be locking in the surveys. So if you need to change your t-shirt size, you can do so until that time. The following day we will be charging all credit cards for add-ons. If you need to change your shipping address, you can still do that up to the day before we start shipping items. Our pre-order store will still be open but any orders made after August 1, 2019 will be shipped AFTER the Kickstarter shipping run. 

Bard Schedule

We've added a new stop on our tour schedule that we want everyone to know about. 

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, we will be in Portland, OR for NERD MUSIC FEST!! We will be joining some incredible names in the nerd music community including PDX Broadsides (fresh off their own successful Kickstarter campaign), nerd rock band extraordinaire, Megathruster, and the legendaryDoubleclicks.

The party starts at 8:00pm at Dante's in Portland, Oregon. Get your tickets now!

If you won't be in Portland on July 27, don't worry. We still have a full schedule in the month of August.

NEW MUSIC SAMPLE

And finally, we want you all to hear more of the awesome songs that we will include on BomBARDed. The iconic creation of Spider-Man from Stan Lee and Steve Ditko is legendary for good reason; Spider-Man is just plain awesome. The schoolkid superhero has taken over the dreams of so many over the years. So how could we do an album without a small tribute? (Have you seen the new movie?? Go see it, if not! Go see it again, if yes!)

And of course, what is Spider-Man best known for? The awesome webs he slings as he traps villains, or swings from building to building. (If you are a fan of 90s music, you know where this is going.) So to pay tribute to our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and to give Bonnie a chance to fulfill her lifelong dream of doing a Gwen Stefani impression, we give you a small sample of Spiderweb (Parody of Spiderwebs by No Doubt). 

As always we want to give a huge shoutout to all our backers. Thank you will never be enough. Please never be shy when you see us at a convention. We LOVE getting to meet our fans and talking with you. The stories we come home with give us a joy we never thought would be possible when we started the Library Bards.

New Stretch Goal UNLOCKED!! / DnD in a Castle / Progress Update

Greetings from the United Kingdom!

Bonnie and Xander just finished their first trip as the Bards to the land of Shakespeare; jolly old England. They served as game masters and NPCs for "D&D in a Castle: Bard Castle". Joined by other amazing DMs and nerd personalities, the Bards took their love of all things nerd to a new level, with 4 days of Dungeons and Dragons madness in the most idyllic of settings ... a freaking castle!

But don't you worry. Even while we have been away, the album and all the merchandise is being made as we type this. We still have some things to work on before have the final CD in our hands (and subsequently yours), but everything is well on it's way to be sent to you on time!!

BackerKit / Final Stretch Goal Unlocked

We loved the momentum we received during our campaign, and we knew we couldn't let it go. So we decided to add any funds we received through add-ons and pre-orders to our Kickstarter total. And guess what?? WE REACHED $30,000 --- so that means tattoos are happening!!!

As of right now, we have 85% of our surveys submitted. Thank you so much to every that has completed this information. We need it not only to send you your merchandise, but also so we can track our album sales to get more publicity about us and our nerdy music passion! 

We will be sending out a reminder soon to those who haven't completed the survey yet. Currently everyone can make changes to their surveys including mailing address. We will be locking that down shortly before we order t-shirts and start the shipping process. So if you need to update your address, please do that as soon as you can. 

Our backers may also be interested in a new partnership we are developing with Master Monk Gaming. The incredible artisans have run their own successful Kickstarter for two of their master projects including Dice Boxes, and their very impressive Dice Tower. With this partnership, we are able to offer a walnut with silver inlay "Library Bards Dice Box". This beautiful piece has room for an entire set of standard dice for all your DnD games. Please check out your survey for the add-on if you're interested. We are offering a very special price for our Kickstarter backers. 

As always we are so thankful for all your support. We have an extremely busy summer ahead of us but our first priority is making sure an incredible nerdy music album will be in your hands as soon as possible. Hello Honorary Bards!!!

It's been a little while since the last update but we wanted to give you information about what is next on the BomBARDed front, and give you some updates on what's going on with the Bards in general. 

SURVEYS COMING SOON

Starting this week we will be sending out surveys to a few random backers. This is being sent out only to a few to make sure the survey tool is working properly. Once we have confirmed that all systems are go, we will send out the remaining surveys. 

In the survey, you can let us know what style and size shirt you would like, and give us your delivery address for all your goodies. If you want more shirts, pins, or CDs, you can add-on while you complete the survey. We will give another update once the surveys have been sent out. 

BomBARDed has been RECORDED!!

After a grueling few weeks, we are excited to let you know that BomBARDed has been recorded. Now we are having our music magicians mix and master the album so you get a top quality album. Once that is done, of course there is printing, shipping, submitting to online outlets, trying to get radio play, etc. etc. etc. (We are already exhausting just thinking about it)

But the important part is that you, yes you will get your digital copy before ANYONE else. If you backed us on Kickstarter, you will we get to hear BomBARDed before anyone else (your friends will be super jealous).  Well...I mean we will have heard it...and our music producer. But that's it. You get it before anyone else beside those few people. ;-)

To give you a little more preview of what to expect, here is a video of Bonnie in the recording studio doing the best diva impression she can muster. You might even recognize some of the songs we haven't officially announced yet. 

UPCOMING BARD SCHEDULE

In early June, we had the privilege of being the Musical Guests of Honor at ConCarolina. We met so many incredible fans and hopefully made some new ones along the way. The experience was a reminder of how lucky we are to be able to share our music with you. 

Next we will be off to the United Kingdom to host our very own DnD in a Castle. Then we will be sailing the high seas with the GACUCon Cruise in July. August will bring us to Indianapolis for GenCon (with Dungeon Master). Next we are off to Chicago for the best music fest there is: FuMPFeST. And then finally we head back across the pond to Ireland for WorldCon!! If you see us at any of these cons, let us know you're a backer for an awesome high five or hug! BECAUSE WE LOVE OUR BACKERS!!!!
