WOW! JUST WOW!
Even after seeing the numbers throughout this campaign, hearing from the amazing fans, and working with vendors, producers, engineers, and so many more --- it's happened. We can officially announce that the Kickstarter for our new album BomBARDed is really happening. These past 4 weeks have been a dream come true for us. To see the love you have all given us, not just in funding, but in private messages, shoutouts on social media, and the excitement you've shown us in person has made us the happiest and most honored bards out there. This album will forever be dedicated to you!!
Just to keep everyone up to date on what's going on, here is a quick rundown:
In the next two weeks, you get a survey from BackerKit. We will get your shipping address, shirt requests (for applicable tiers), and you will have the opportunity to order more copies of the CD, Enamel Pins, and T-Shirts. All the rewards (except for the D&D game) are expected to be shipped out by September. Every person who backed at $10 or higher will receive the digital copy of BomBARDed before it gets released to the public. You get to hear it first!!! We will update you on that release as soon as possible.
We were so close to our final stretch goal of $30,000. In order to keep our tattoo dreams alive, we are adding our Kickstarter total to everything we earn on BackerKit. Once we get to the 30K mark ... tattoos are ON!!!
And of course we will be keeping you guys posted on updates here. We will have album previews, behind the scenes, and of course, our entire progress in making this album.

Live Long and Prosper
FINAL HOURS AND LIVESTREAM
We made it! We are hitting the final hours of our Kickstarter and it has been an unreal experience. Our spectacular backers blew our goal out of the water and unlocked FOUR stretch goals in the process. But it's not over yet!
We are gonna end this thing the same way we started it. Today (May 27) starting at 1pm (Pacific Daylight Time), we will be livestreaming from the incredible tavern at the Scabby Rooster. We'd love for you to join us as we play games, tell stories about our experiences this month (including our crazy recording sessions, performing at D&D Live, and more). You can join us by checking out Xander's twitch stream (twitch.tv/xanderrific). We would love for you to share our kickstarter and our livestream today on social media. Tag us (@librarybards) because we want everyone to #getBomBARDed.
After the campaign ends, we will still be updating you guys on our album progress, giving you special previews of some of the incredible songs on BomBARDed. Plus, as a Kickstarter backer, you'll be getting behind the scenes of some of the cool summer events we will be performing at or attending.
Just as a reminder, Kickstarter will start processing payments at the end of the campaign. And in about two weeks, we will start sending BackerKit surverys to all you amazing backers so we can collect shipping addresses, shirt sizes, etc. We will also have add-ons and a pre-order store available through BackerKit in case you want to order more merchandise or albums.
We are incapable of thanking you enough. This project has not only given us the chance to make an incredible album, it has given us a chance to meet so many new fans. We see you on social media and we are honored to share your love of all things nerd. Every D&D player, Trekkie (Trekker), Whovian, Browncoat, Thronie, Potterhead, and anyone who celebrates any kind of nerdom has a special place in our heart. We are so thankful to you for joining us as we musically celebrate our shared passions and loves. Truly from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

It's already been 8 days into our Kickstarter and we still haven't fully recovered from our excitement. Not only have we made our goal, we are 124% funded with 20 days still left to go. I know we've said it before, but there is no way we can truly ever say THANK YOU enough. You have all been so incredible. And since you've been so generous with us, we want to give something to you.

Storytime: This year at El Paso Comic Con, it was discovered by some eagle-eyed fans that when fans say, "Library Bards," we instinctively do our signature jazz hands. This eventually became a running joke throughout the entire con and our new fans wanted to see us do our Library Bards "Jazz Hands" constantly. While we had an awesome time in El Paso, we decided that we shouldn't be the only one having having fun with jazz hands. So we started asking our fans to do their best Library Bard jazz hands pose. And with that, the #ShowUsYourJazzHands movement was started.
Now we want you to follow suit. We want you to get a group together or just take a selfie and #showusyourjazzhands. But wait! We know you are asking yourself, "how do I properly do the Library Bards Jazz Hands?" We've got you covered. Check out our newest video that gives you all the tips and tricks to show us your best jazz hands.
Once you're done with the instructional tape, be sure upload your photo or video on social media on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram with the hashtag, #showusyourjazzhands. We can't wait to see your jazz hands everywhere. And be sure to get them done early. We would love to post your photos as one of our Kickstarter updates, as well as on YouTube.
Stretch Goals
In addition to our second album BomBARDed, we want to give you guys more Library Bards. So we created some stretch goals to do as much as possible with your generous pledges.
UNLOCKED: 20,000 - BomBARDed stickers
Every person who gets physical rewards (at the $25 level or higher) will receive some awesome BomBARDed stickers. We will have the designs posted soon for you folks. But we wanted show you some sticker love for all your support.
UNLOCKED: 22,000 - Second BomBARDed Music Video
With our original Kickstarter goal, we knew a music video had to be included. But we LOVE making music videos. It is our way of giving an extra life to our songs that we work so hard on. But at this level, we can confidently make a second music video to go with the awesome album.
LOCKED: 24,000 - Third BomBARDed Music Video
We did mention we LOVE making music videos, right? So at this level, we can make another one to go with the first two. And we will make this one just as epic, if not more so than the others.
LOCKED: 30,000 - We get matching Library Bards Tattoos and broadcast it live.
Okay! We've talked about doing this one with each other for a while now. But tattoos can be kind of scary. But we love the Library Bards and our fans so much that we would jump at the chance make this incredible experience permanently attached to us. So if we make this goal, we will be getting the official Library Bards logo tattooed on us. And only our backers will get the link to see it streamed live. Come cheer us on!
